How We Create a Family-Friendly Space

Many parents and caregivers in Cary, Durham, Raleigh, and the Triangle tell us how important it is to find safe, fun activities for their kids or teenagers. We are a small business that hosts inclusive video game events and offer a curated selection of cute, kawaii goods that reflect our values. We focus on creating a family-friendly space where children, teens, and their caregivers can feel comfortable, engaged, and included. Read below to see how we put family-friendliness into practice and consider joining our newsletter if you’d like to be part of our inclusive community of gamers.

We set clear expectations that all attendees treat each other with respect, showing kids and teens how to win with humility and lose with grace. Hosts are present throughout events to provide guidance, model positive interactions, and step in when needed to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

We choose venues that are easy to navigate for families, provide enough seating for caregivers and children, and ensure layouts accommodate strollers or mobility aids. Our spaces are designed to help everyone feel comfortable participating and moving around freely.

We support flexible participation so kids, teens, and adults can join at their own pace, step away if they need a break, or try different activities as they feel ready. This allows attendees of all ages to engage without stress and enjoy the event on their own terms.

We offer side activities like coloring and activity pages, trivia, and live commentary to keep players and spectators entertained at all times. Hosts demonstrate games, set people up to learn, and provide guidance so everyone can participate successfully. Our goal is to create fun, social experiences where all attendees can play, learn, and enjoy themselves together.
