Casual Chaos is the Smash Ultimate tournament made for players who just want to have fun. With silly game modes, no eliminations until grand finals, minimum wait times, prizes for the top 4, and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to meet new friends and chill out!
Low sodium environment for casual gamers
No experience required. This event is focused on having fun and creating hilarious memories. Players will start in a Swiss bracket playing in groups of four with silly game modes. At the end of the event we will cut to our top four players who will compete for prizes. Whether this will be your first time playing Smash Bros. or you’ve been playing for years and are looking for a more casual environment, you are welcome here.
How the event works
CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER: Before 7:30 PM buy a ticket to sign up for our Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament.
READY, GO: We will call your matches and tell you where to go. You will sit down and play in pods of four. At the end of your four person match, record your placement on the scorecard given to you and report back to the organizers. Wait times between matches may be up to 20 minutes.
NEW CHALLENGER: Each match afterwards you will face people that scored similar to you. Score high enough and you’ll make the cut for top four to play for prizes at the end of the event.
Silly Game Modes
Any of the following silly game modes may be picked randomly at the start of each round and each game mode lasts 4 minutes long. No game mode will be repeated until the final round when we will do 3 silly game modes.
Final Smash
Pick whoever you think has the coolest final smash and be the first to fill up your smash meter!
Footsies
Every hit is a gamble with only 10 stamina to work with—land a strike, but be careful, or someone else might catch you back.
Minion Master
Assist Trophies are dropping—grab them first, control the battlefield, and defeat your opponents’ assists for extra points.
Rampage
The bigger, the better! Start large and collect mushrooms to grow to gigantic proportions and crush your foes in this wild, destruction-filled battle inspired by the classic Rampage.
Salute The Sun
Hotheads are your key to victory—hit them to make them bigger, then use your character’s reflector or Franklin Badges to take control and set your opponents ablaze!
Smash for Ants
You’re the size of a ant and can barely jump! Try and knock your opponents off stage where they can’t recover, but watch out for mini-mushrooms that make you even weaker. Tip, characters with b-attacks that cause them to move like Ridley’s side-b are busted in this game mode.
Hot Potato
The bomb’s ticking—who will it explode on? The game will spawn in sticky bombs that players can hurl at each other. Dodge, aim, and pass the bomb before it’s too late—just don’t be the one caught holding it when it blows!

Nepune’s Parlour does not have any dedicated parking and requires taking a flight of stairs to access. There is street parking and nearby parking decks.
