Earn collectible tickets for prizes\, enjoy trivia between matches\, and bring a DS or Switch for Animal Crossing\, Pokémon trading\, and Nintendo StreetPass. Come meet new people and enjoy some low-stress\, Casual Chaos. \n\n\n\nHow the event works\n\n\n\nCHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER: Before 3:30 PM check-in to sign up for our Smash Bros. Ultimate casual competition. After 3:30 PM ticket holders forfeit their player spot. \n\n\n\nREADY\, GO: We will call your matches and tell you where to go. You will sit down and play in groups of three to four. At the end of your match\, record what place you got on the scorecard given to you and report back to the organizers. Wait times between matches may be up to 20 minutes. \n\n\n\nNEW CHALLENGER: Each match afterwards you will face people that scored similar to you. We’ll try to get as many rounds in as we can. At the end of the event you can turn in your tickets for prizes or hold onto them for something bigger. \n\n\n\nSilly Game Modes\n\n\n\nAny of the following silly game modes may be picked randomly at the start of each round and each game mode lasts 4 minutes long. No game mode will be repeated. In the final round we will end with the Final Smash game mode. \n\n\n\nSeasonal Game Mode\nEach season we pull out a different game mode inspired by them. \n\n\n\nWinter (December\, January\, February): Everything’s getting colder and the wind’s picking up. \n\n\n\nSpring (March\, April\, May): It’s time to hop around and enjoy all the emerging greenery. \n\n\n\nSummer (June\, July\, August): Everyone is spewing flames and the temperature is only going up from there. \n\n\n\nFall (September\, October\, November): The leaves are falling and the ground’s full of surprises ready to trip you up. \n\n\n\n\nBounce House\nGet ready to fly around! Use bumpers and super launch stars to send your opponents flying into the stratosphere. \n\n\n\n\nFinal Smash\nPick whoever you think has the coolest final smash and be the first to fill up your smash meter! \n\n\n\n\nFootsies\nEvery hit is a gamble with only 10 stamina to work with! Land a strike\, but be careful\, or someone else might catch you back. \n\n\n\n\nHot Potato\nThe bomb’s ticking\, but who will it explode on? The game will spawn in sticky bombs that players can hurl at each other. Dodge\, aim\, and pass the bomb before it’s too late. Just don’t be the one caught holding it when it blows! \n\n\n\n\nKing of the Hill\nTry and secure a precious 1-UP before your enemies can knock it out of your hands! \n\n\n\n\nMinion Master\nAssist Trophies are dropping! Grab them first\, control the battlefield\, and defeat your opponents’ assists for extra points. \n\n\n\n\nPokémon Trainer\nThere’s wild Pokémon everywhere! Grab all the poke balls you can and hope you get a master ball for one of those amazing legendaries. \n\n\n\n\nRampage\nThe bigger\, the better! Start large and collect mushrooms to grow to gigantic proportions and crush your foes in this wild\, destruction-filled battle inspired by the classic videogame Rampage. \n\n\n\n\nSalute The Sun\nHotheads are your key to victory! Hit them to make them bigger\, then use your character’s reflector or Franklin Badges to take control and set your opponents ablaze. \n\n\n\n\nSmash for Ants\nYou’re the size of a ant and can barely jump! Try and knock your opponents off stage where they can’t recover\, but watch out for mini-mushrooms that make you even weaker. \n\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Info\nHow our casual competitions are better than traditional tournaments and freeplay\n\n\n\nOur casual competition system uses the best of both traditional tournaments and free play with none of the drawbacks. Traditional tournaments give structure\, but are stressful and people are eliminated quickly if they don’t know how to play well. Free play is less stressful\, but without any structure people can be stuck waiting forever to play and skill disparities are unmanaged. Our casual competition system gives just enough structure so that everyone gets to play plenty and play against people close to their skill level while no one is ever eliminated. \n\n\n\nPrizes\n\n\n\nAt most of our events you can collect tickets to turn in for prizes. You can find a current list of our prizes here. \n\n\n\nPhysical Accessibility\n\n\n\nClouds Brewing Raleigh Taproom has a nearby parking lot\, but no automatic door. \n\n\n\nBathrooms\n\n\n\nClouds Brewing Raleigh Taproom has a single occupancy bathroom. \n\n\n\nKids and Young Children\n\n\n\nWe pride ourselves on being a family friendly place for all kids and their caregivers. We always make sure kids can have a great time by showing them how to play\, setting up their controls\, and matching them up with others who have the same level of experience as them. For caregivers\, we offer a welcoming\, low-pressure environment where you’re encouraged to relax\, play alongside your kids\, or just hang out. We know that caregivers come in all forms\, parents\, siblings\, grandparents\, extended family\, friends\, chosen family\, and we make sure everyone feels seen\, respected\, and included. \n\n\n\nInclusivity\n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome regardless of race\, gender identity\, age\, ability\, sexual orientation\, ethnicity\, religion\, nationality\, language\, body size\, neurodiversity\, and their intersections. Our events are a space where you can be yourself. Please email us at hello@nceclecticesports.com with any concerns or accommodation requests. SUMMARY:Casual Chaos: Smash Bros. Ultimate Video Game Party\, All Ages Welcome
DESCRIPTION:A Place Where Every Gamer Belongs\n\n\n\nWhat\, When\, Where\nA relaxed Smash Bros. video game party with no eliminations\, side quests\, and plenty of chances to laugh\, connect\, and have fun.\n\n\n\nEvery First Sunday\, 2-4 PM\, Outside\, Spot To Be Determined\n\n\n\n4285 Trinity Rd\, Raleigh\, NC 27607\n\n\n\nSchedule\n\n\n\n\n2 PM: Check-in opens up\n\n\n\n2:30 PM: Smash Ultimate Casual Competition Starts\n\n\n\n4 PM: Event ends\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Description\n\n\n\n\nReady to brawl? Jump into Casual Chaos\, a no-pressure Smash Bros. Ultimate video game party where you can play\, laugh\, and take it easy! \n\n\n\nPlay or spectate\, hop in and out as you please\, and try out a game you might not have at home. No matter your age\, identity\, or skill level you’re welcomed at our events\, we’ll even show you how to play! Our event ensures everyone gets to play plenty\, not wait forever\, and play against people of the same skill level. Earn collectible tickets for prizes\, enjoy trivia between matches\, and bring a DS or Switch for Animal Crossing\, Pokémon trading\, and Nintendo StreetPass. Come meet new people and enjoy some low-stress\, Casual Chaos. \n\n\n\nHow the event works\n\n\n\nCHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER: Before 2:30 PM check-in to sign up for our Smash Bros. Ultimate casual competition. After 2:30 PM ticket holders forfeit their spot. \n\n\n\nREADY\, GO: We will call your matches and tell you where to go. You will sit down and play in groups of three to four. At the end of your match\, record what place you got on the scorecard given to you and report back to the organizers. Wait times between matches may be up to 10 minutes. \n\n\n\nPhysical Accessibility\n\n\n\nThe Raleigh Market has two parking lots with both having ADA parking spots. \n\n\n\nBathrooms\n\n\n\nThe Raleigh Market has a large bathroom building near the education and commercial buildings. \n\n\n\nKids and Young Children\n\n\n\nWe pride ourselves on being a family friendly place for all kids and their caregivers. Jump into Minigame Mayhem\, a no-pressure Mario Party Superstars minigames video game party where you can play\, laugh\, and take it easy! Come meet new people and enjoy some low-stress\, Minigame Mayhem. \n\n\n\nHow the event works\n\n\n\nJOIN THE PARTY: Before 2:30 PM check-in to sign up for our Mario Party Superstars minigames casual competition. After 2:30 PM ticket holders forfeit their spot. \n\n\n\n3\, 2\, 1\, START: We will call your matches and tell you where to go. You will sit down and play in pods of three to four across five minigames. At the end of your match\, record what score you got on the scorecard given to you and report back to the organizers. Wait times between matches may be up to 10 minutes. \n\n\n\nNEXT TURN: Each match afterwards you will face people that scored similar to you. We’ll try to get as many rounds in as we can. At the end of the event you can turn in your tickets for prizes or hold onto them for something bigger. \n\n\n\nRule Set\n\n\n\nAll matches are played in the following ruleset: \n\n\n\n\n3-4 Players\n\n\n\nFree for all minigames\n\n\n\n5 Rounds\n\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Info\nHow our casual competitions are better than traditional tournaments and freeplay\n\n\n\nOur casual competition system uses the best of both traditional tournaments and free play with none of the drawbacks. \n\n\n\nCollectible Tickets & Prizes\n\n\n\nAt most of our events you can collect tickets to turn in for prizes. You can find a current list of our prizes here. For caregivers\, we offer a welcoming\, low-pressure environment where you’re encouraged to relax on your own or play alongside your kids. Come meet new people and enjoy some low-stress\, summer gaming. \n\n\n\nHow the event works\n\n\n\nCHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER: Before 7 PM check-in to sign up for our Smash Bros. Ultimate casual competition. After 7 PM people that haven’t RSVPed forfeit their spot. \n\n\n\nREADY\, GO: We will call your matches and tell you where to go. You will sit down and play in groups of three to four. At the end of your match\, record what place you got on the scorecard given to you and report back to the organizers. Wait times between matches may be up to 14 minutes. \n\n\n\nNEW CHALLENGER: Each match afterwards you will face people that scored similar to you. We’ll try to get as many rounds in as we can. At the end of the event the top four players will be awarded prizes based on how well they did. \n\n\n\nPrizes\n\n\n\nAll prizing is provided by NC Eclectic Esports for this event. The top four players of this event will receive different prizes. \n\n\n\nParking\n\n\n\nThe Portal HQ has a large free parking lot. \n\n\n\nPhysical Accessibility\n\n\n\nThe Portal HQ parking lot has ADA parking. DESCRIPTION:Connecting People Through Games\n\n\n\nWhat\, When\, Where\nA Smash Bros. video game casual competition across the n64\, GameCube\, Wii U\, and Switch with no eliminations\, prizes\, and a 50/50 fundraiser for the LGBT Center of Raleigh.\n\n\n\nSaturday 6-11-26\, 2-4 PM\n\n\n\n128 E Cabarrus St\, Raleigh\, NC 27601\n\n\n\nSchedule\n\n\n\n\n2 PM: Check-in opens up\n\n\n\n2:30 PM: Mario Kart Competition Starts\n\n\n\n4 PM: Event ends\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Description\nReady to race for a good cause? Jump into Casual Karting\, a no-pressure Mario Kart World fundraiser where you can play\, laugh\, and take it easy! Earn collectible tickets for prizes and bring a DS or Switch for Animal Crossing\, Pokémon trading\, and Nintendo StreetPass. Come meet new people and let’s support our local LGBT center. \n\n\n\nHow the event works\n\n\n\nCHOOSE YOUR KART: Before 2:30 PM check-in to sign up for our Mario Kart World casual competition. After 2:30 PM ticket holders forfeit their spot. \n\n\n\n3\, 2\, 1\, RACE: We will call your matches and tell you where to go. You will sit down and play in pods of three to four with easy CPUS on three random tracks. At the end of your match\, record what place you got on the scorecard given to you and report back to the organizers. Wait times between matches may be up to 15 minutes. \n\n\n\nNEXT LAP: Each match afterwards you will face people that scored similar to you. We’ll try to get as many rounds in as we can. At the end of the event you can turn in your tickets for prizes or hold onto them for something bigger. \n\n\n\nRule Set\n\n\n\nAll matches are played in the following ruleset: \n\n\n\n\n3-4 Players\n\n\n\n150 CC\n\n\n\nNormal Items\n\n\n\nEasy CPUs\n\n\n\n3 Random Tracks\n\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Info\nHow our casual competitions are better than traditional tournaments and freeplay\n\n\n\nOur casual competition system uses the best of both traditional tournaments and free play with none of the drawbacks. \n\n\n\nPrizes\n\n\n\nPrizes for this event are provided by NC Eclectic Esports and the LGBT Center of Raleigh \n\n\n\nParking\n\n\n\nThe LGBT Center of Raleigh has free street level parking and is across from a parking deck. \n\n\n\nPhysical Accessibility\n\n\n\nThe LGBT Center of Raleigh is ADA accessible and has ramps. \n\n\n\nBathrooms\n\n\n\nThe LGBT Center of Raleigh has two single occupancy bathrooms. \n\n\n\nKids and Young Children\n\n\n\nWe pride ourselves on being a family friendly place for all kids and their caregivers.
